Since 1986, Christopher Radko has devoted himself to restoring magic, heart and fine craftsmanship to holiday celebrations. While visiting Europe, Chistopher Radko found a glassblower eager to revive the art of his great-grandfather, dormant since the turn of the century. They recovered the antique ornament molds, supplied him with Christoher's own imagination and began the old world process. Each of Radko's glass ornaments is made entirely by hand, using techniques dating back to the 1800's. This technique requires seven days to produce a single piece. The ornaments are mouth-blown in a tempered glass for durability, lined with silver for luminescense and painted with loving care in every intricate detail. Radiant with sparkle and aglow from within, Radko's European designs are not just decorations, they are works of heart.
